Does schema markup help AI search? What Google says, which structured data types to prioritize by site type, JSON-LD examples, and how to validate them.

You'll be able to
- ✓Explain what Google says about structured data and its AI features
- ✓Prioritize schema types for your site type
- ✓Write Organization, WebSite and Article JSON-LD that link with
@id - ✓Validate markup and avoid deprecated rich-result types
The short answer
Schema markup is not required for AI search. Google says there is no special schema for its AI features. It still helps: structured data gives machines explicit facts about who you are and what a page is, and it powers many rich results. Prioritize Organization, WebSite, Article, Product and LocalBusiness. FAQ and HowTo markup no longer produce Google rich results.
