Topical Authority for AI Citations: Build a Cluster That Gets Cited

Choose one business-critical topic, then map the parent question and 8-15 sub-questions users ask before buying. Publish a pillar page for the parent query and focused pages for each sub-question. Link child pages back to the pillar and to adjacent children where relevant.

Depth is not word count. Depth is answering practical follow-ups, tradeoffs, implementation details, and failure cases. Pages that only define terms are easy to replace. Pages that include process detail, examples, and constraints are harder to replace and more likely to be cited.
